The Bright Company is a British unisex sleepwear, essentials & bedding brand for 0-9's and grown ups!
A design-led brand with a love of bright colours and strong prints for flourishing personalities; unisex designs that let children be children, free from gender stereotyping.
Product design plays close attention to the distinct physical needs of babies, toddlers and children. For example Slim Jyms Pyjamas are carefully designed to be slim fitting so that they don't 'ride up' at night leaving little ones with cold patches. While the Monty Sleepsuit avoids the baggy excessive fabric so common in sleepsuit designs today, making the tentative first crawls and steps much easier.
Alienor Falconer, a British-based designer and London College of Fashion alumni founded the company in 2013, with a passion to create more inspiring, well-designed sleepwear and clothing for 'little people'. Prior to The Bright Company, Alienor worked most recently as a lead product developer at British fashion label, Paul Smith.
What their clothes are made from
All their current collections use super-soft cotton jersey interlock fabric. It's cotton that also meets the strict OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ensuring no harmful substances or dyes are used at any stage of production - crucial for peace of mind when creating clothes and sleepwear intended for young children.
Where & how their clothes are made
Where and how their clothes are made is very important to them. All our factories are within the European Union (E.U.) and they work closely with independent, often family-run factories, where workers are guaranteed proper rights and conditions as part of the E.U.
